HVOF Thermal Spary Coating

Hello, this is Microcontrols, a company specializing in warrior coatings.

HVOF is a spraying technique characterized by high-speed spraying using oxygen as fuel.

The temperature of the flame is around 3,000 degrees, and the scattering speed of the

 particles melted in the ultra-high-speed jet of about 2,100 m/sec is about 800 ~ 900 m/sec.

It is sprayed at the fastest speed among thermal spraying to be called super-high-speed

thermal spraying, so it has the advantages of high adhesive strength and low porosity

compared to other thermal spray coatings, and the time that the molten thermal spray

material is exposed to the air is relatively short, so changes such as oxidation can be

 minimized.

It is mainly suitable for spraying carbide-based powders with high wear resistance such as

tungsten carbide or chromium carbide with high hardness, or materials with strong acid

resistance and corrosion resistance such as Hastelloy or Inconel. It has the advantage of

being able to extract the value without a fusing process.

Adhesive strength: 12,000 ~ 16,000 PSI

Porosity: 0.7% or less
